Core Components & Design
* Low-Pressure Gauge (Blue): Measures suction pressure and vacuum levels when evacuating the system.
* High-Pressure Gauge (Red): Monitors the discharge pressure coming out of the compressor.
* Manifold Block: The central chamber (usually made of heavy-duty brass or aluminum) that directs the flow of gas or liquid via hand valves.
* Color-Coded Hoses: Typically includes a Blue hose for the low-pressure side, a Red hose for the high-pressure side, and a Yellow hose used as the utility line for connecting a vacuum pump or refrigerant tank.
